Artists work with the existing architecture - corridors, patient rooms, operating rooms, nurses stations and medical spaces - using the building itself as their canvas.
Through this transformation, the hospital becomes a surreal and powerful artistic landscape.
For a limited time, the hospital itself becomes the artwork.

About
The Project
Presented by the curatorial and creative team of House of Art and Dreams,
together with ROYVA and St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus.
Hospital of Emotions was created as a platform where established and emerging artists can present their work side by side, transforming an entire hospital building into a collective artistic experience.
The exhibition brings together creators from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, giving artists the freedom to create ambitious site-specific works within the unique architecture of the hospital building.
At the same time, the project aims to make contemporary art more accessible to the general public. By presenting art in an unexpected environment outside of traditional museums and galleries the exhibition invites a wide audience to experience art in a direct, emotional, and approachable way.
One of the most unique aspects of the project is the building itself. A place that until recently functioned as a hospital - a space of care, vulnerability, and human stories - is temporarily transformed into a large-scale pop-up exhibition.
Artists work with the existing architecture, corridors, rooms, and traces of the building's past, turning the hospital into a surreal and powerful artistic landscape.
In this exhibition, the building is not just a location - it becomes an essential part of the artwork itself.
Through this transformation, the exhibition creates a rare encounter between art, space, and emotion.
